It started with one bad lease.
Our CEO is a Truman State student who lost a security deposit to a listing that wasn't what it claimed to be. He went looking for a better way and didn't find one — so he teamed up with two remote engineers to build it.
TRUmate isn't a national app pretending to know your town. It's a tool aimed straight at the Truman ecosystem — the landlords, the lease cycle, the bus routes, the streets you can actually walk to class from.
